iBox Director® 5 Software Release Announced at ABA Annual Convention
inLighten Vice President, Jeff Taylor, announced at this year’s ABA Annual Convention kickoff session that inLighten’s new iBox Director 5 software will begin shipping the first of December, almost two months ahead of schedule.
“We’re very excited about this release and look forward to having this reliable and proven product line continue its leadership of digital media management,” Taylor said during his presentation.
The iBox Director 5 Software, which is XP, Vista and Windows 7 approved, is truly a one-stop solution for managing a digital media network. Not only does the software enable the user to create, schedule and broadcast digital signage content to a variety of displays, including video walls, it also empowers the user to manage multiple media networks, including phone on-hold networks, screensaver networks, Internet kiosk networks, and even a new universal ATM graphics update network compatible with equipment of the leading providers. “Now users really can sit at one station and control an array of customer touch points,” inLighten Senior Vice President, Doug Braun explained.
Director 5 software enables the use of HD graphics in combination with Flash, PowerPoint and MPEG files while functioning on a LAN or across the Internet.
The thousand-plus institutions using the legacy version of the iBox Director Software will be offered a special discount for switching to the new, more advanced solution. “iBox Director 5 was developed to include many of the features our clients were asking for, including Internet communication capabilities and an advanced creation interface,” said inLighten Senior Vice President, Gary Hiramoto.
